Ideacade (PVT) Ltd - Refund Policy

 

Introduction

At Ideacade (PVT) Ltd, our mission is to deliver high-quality, actionable online education that empowers you to acquire skills and generate income. We are committed to student satisfaction, and we want to be transparent about how refunds are handled for our paid programs.

This Refund Policy explains when and how you may request a refund, the conditions that apply, and our obligations as your training provider.


 

1. Eligibility for Refund

1.1 7-Day Refund Window
Students are eligible to request a refund within seven (7) calendar days from the official course start date. This window applies regardless of whether you have attended the first day/session or not.

1.2 Single-use Only
Each enrolment is eligible for one refund request only. If a refund has been processed for a particular course enrolment, re-enrolment in the same course is not eligible for another refund.


 

2. How to Request a Refund

2.1 Valid Submission
All refund requests must be submitted in writing by email to hello@ideacade.com and once sent the email you need to inform that to our admin team via whatsapp. Use this number :  +94 77 785 4956 ( Whatsapp ).

2.2 Required Information
To process your request smoothly, please include:

  • Full Name

  • Course Name

  • Payment Receipt or Transaction ID

  • Reason for Refund Request

2.3 Submission Deadline
Requests must reach us no later than 11:59 PM Sri Lanka Standard Time (SLST) on the 7th day from the course start date. Late requests will not be entertained under any circumstances.


 

3. Non-Eligibility

Refund requests will not be accepted under the following conditions:

  • If submitted after the 7-day refund window.

  • If you have completed or accessed significant course material beyond the first session/module.

  • If the request is made due to personal reasons unrelated to course quality or delivery (e.g., personal time constraints, job change, or other commitments).

  • If the course has been purchased at a discounted rate under a special promotion marked as Non-Refundable (this will be clearly stated at the time of purchase).


 

4. Processing of Refunds

4.1 Review & Approval
Once we receive your valid request, our team will review it within 5 business days. If approved, the refund will be processed back to your original payment method.

4.2 Refund Timeframe
Refunds are typically completed within 7–14 business days after approval, depending on your bank or payment gateway policies.

4.3 Transaction Fees
Please note that any bank transaction charges, payment gateway fees, or service charges incurred during the initial payment or refund processing may be deducted from the refundable amount.


 

5. Course Cancellation by Ideacade

In the rare event that Ideacade (PVT) Ltd cancels a course before its scheduled start date or within the first 7 days, students will receive a full refund, inclusive of any processing fees.


 

6. Changes to the Refund Policy

Ideacade (PVT) Ltd reserves the right to amend this Refund Policy at any time. Any changes will be communicated through our official website and student communication channels.
